Susi outlined advertising opportunities – Sylvia requested more information and will contact Laura directly.
Susi shared the treasurer’s report – no other board members present to approve.
Office volunteers – Katie Braymer is interested – and Dawn will sign up for some Fridays once retired. Sylvia may be interested. Encouraged everyone to leave flyers/ business cards and products. Shared that we are also looking for candidates that are not members too,
As we held a meeting – Student service day was in full swing and we celebrated this.
Other Business:
Sylvia requested we have a printable version of all members at the office.
Dawn shared that she was retiring from the bank and that everyone was invited to pop by and say goodbye next Thursday between 1-4. We thanked Dawn for her service to the bank and community in general.
Katie Braymer shared that Braymer fuels were offering $10.00 of spring cleaning until the end of June.
Dawn asked when the Matttelli’s ribbon cutting was ?- I was not sure and said I would ask. (Per Laura: at their request, Matelli’s Ribbon Cutting will be held after their dinner service has opened)
Matt asked about potential merger with other chambers in particular Cambridge and Greenwich to share resources. Maybe the time to look at this – Dawn mentioned Adirondack was fully staffed with the marketing and admin department. Greenwich has recently been collaborating and sharing resources. Maybe we could discuss this further in due course. Whilst retaining individuality. Susi praised Laura for all her hard work and the gift of the chamber office – all agreed.
