Explore a section of the D&H Rail Trail during a discussion of the Italian immigrants who came to work in the region’s slate industry! The program will include snippets of Italian history, immigrant culture, and the traditional Italian games that they brought with them to America.

Weather permitting, participants will be welcomed to play an Italian game and explore the museum’s immigration exhibitions after the walk.

The program is a fun, hands-on experience for families and anyone who loves culture, games, and history. Includes about 40 minutes of walking with brief stops for rest and discussion along the way. The terrain is a flat, accessible, family-friendly trail.
