May 17 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
In this intensive workshop, students will observe and practice several fundamental techniques used in metal fabrication. Time will be split between demonstration and assisted hands-on practice. Techniques covered include heating, bending, and cutting using an oxy-acetylene torch, cutting using a plasma cutter, and MIG welding.
This one-day, six-hour workshop is available for beginners with no prior experience, but is also useful for people with some prior experience.
