Backyard Sugaring at Bancroft Public Library

| Description | Merck Forest and Farmland Center comes to the library this winter to give a hands-on talk about how to sugar. You’ll learn a little bit about maple trees, how sap is made into maple syrup, and you’ll get to “practice” tapping outside. This program is best suited for individuals and families with kids 8 and over. Participants should come prepared to spend a portion of the program outside (wear warm clothes!)–we will be walking down the block to the White Church. |
