Faerydale Consignments and Gifts 
Faerydale Consignments and Gifts is new to Salem!. Located at 197 Main Street next to the Gazebo, it is owned and operated by Robyn Scutt. Robyn has been a resident of Salem for nearly 5 years and a prior Shushan resident. Robyn decided to open the shop because she’s a huge fan of thrift stores and feels it’s a great location in a beautiful building. Robyn is hoping the store will bring more shoppers and business to Salem as well as help the local consigners & crafters .
The shop features antiques, collectibles, pre-owned and new clothing, children items, furniture, home décor and household items. There are many new gift items as well as a large selection of local handcrafted items.
Shop hours are Tues – Thurs 10 – 5, Fri 10 – 7 & Sat 10 – 2. Closed Sun – Mon and between 1:30 – 2:30 weekdays.
Currently accepting consigners and crafters. Stop by with your items or call 683-5027 for more information.

Glens Falls National Bank & Trust Company held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, January 12, 2012 to mark the Grand Opening of their new Salem Banking Office at 212 Main Street, Rt. 22.

Glens Falls National’s new Salem Office location at 212 Main Street, Salem, New York. The new office had its official Grand Opening on Friday, January 13, 2012. The new office provides added banking convenience for customers in Washington County with two drive-in lanes, a drive up 24 hour ATM, easier access and an enhanced lobby. The lobby and drive-in hours are from 9-4 Monday through Wednesday, 9-5 on Thursday and 9-6 on Friday. The Grand Opening Celebration will run until March 2, 2012.

Salem Auto Parts (NAPA) opened January 2003 at 209 Main St. Our business continued to grow throughout the years. By 2011, it was evident we needed to expand in order to continue to grow. The small storefront with street parking that served us so well for so many years had reached capacity.
Fortunately, our current location at the light in the middle of the Village became available at just the right time. A modern building with its own parking lot, great visibility and much needed room seemed to fit our future quite well.
We renovated the old Stewarts building, put up signage and added inventory. We also expanded our hours and added staff.
We are very happy and proud of the results. We look forward to supporting the local community and economy for many years to come in Salem.
Store hours are Mon – Fri 7:30 AM – 6 PM and Sat. 8 AM – 4 PM.
